I once pushed aside a group of junior high school kids in order to get a good shot of this bridge near Kobe. Travelling by train, I had missed it going to Kobe because of the weather and when I was leaving a group of kids were clustered by the windows. I asked politely, in Japanese, for them to move but they didn't hear me or ignored me so I put my elbows up.
