More on TB

My posting power has been diminished this week, and I prefer to direct you to links. This is a good post about the guy who got on a plane knowing he had TB and spread it all around. Warning -- the post uses some strong language, including 'douche' and 'fuck'. Read at your own risk. Warning -- this post just used strong language, such as 'douche' and 'fuck' and shouldn't have been read by anyone who found those words offensive.

The TB man claims that he didn't commit a crime, but if you can charge a person for knowingly spreading HIV, why can't you charge someone for knowingly spreading TB? Something to think about and keep you up at night over the weekend.

Another good post worth checking out is about evolution, medicine and TB. I think if you don't believe in evolution, then you shouldn't be allowed to use the latest medicines. Stick with your leeches and Castor oils. This new version of TB is drug-resistant because of our attempts to kill it with drugs. Some strains of TB mutated and grew stronger because of the prevelance of antibiotics, which means that our diseases are gaining on us.
