Canada=Texas. France=California.

Interesting map that compares countries of the world to US States according to GDP. Texas becomes Canada (those Albertans were right!) and California becomes France. The map doesn't factor in population, which would explain why Rhode Island equals Vietnam. (Though with a surprisingly equal amount of communists).
